The A-Key® 4500 token is the most versatile USB token
available.
It can be used for both Challenge/Response and One-time
Password authentication for remote (VPN) and LAN Authentication,
as well as secure certificate storage and use, and secure
storage of web log on credentials with automatic web log on.
Information stored on the drive is safe from intrusion, loss
and theft. And because it does not require user installation, it
can be taken and used anywhere.
Software can also be pre-installed onto the A-Key® 4500 token
token. ACert™ Software enables A-Key® token users to securely
store and use digital certificates on the token. My A-Key™
software enables A-Key® token users to securely store Web logon
credentials and automatically log in to Web sites without having
to touch a computer keyboard.
- It is totally mobile. Users do not have to install
drivers in order to make the token work: they just plug it
in and it works.
- It provides secure storage. All files saved onto the
token are encrypted on the fly using AES encryption. The
encryption functionality is built into the A-Key® 4500
token's chip itself. It is not an application on the token:
it cannot be altered or erased.
- It has flexible password management. The A-Key® 4500
token has at least one level of password protection: the
user level. However, two levels are available: the user and
admin levels. This gives the system administrator a greater
degree of control over the token.
- It provides secure privacy. No user data stored in the
SECURE folder on the A-Key® 4500 token is visible unless the
user correctly logs in to it.
- It provides users and administrators peace of mind
against loss or theft. For added security in the event that
the A-Key® 4500 token is lost or stolen, if someone tries to
log in and fails a configurable number of times, the token
will automatically erase all user data and restore its
factory default settings. This functionality is also built
into the token’s chip itself. It is not an application on
the drive: it cannot be altered or erased.
