The Authenex OTP A-Key Token Overview:
The Authenex A-Key token is a chip-based authentication token
offering total mobility with maximum flexibility. The A-Key
token is the core component of the Authenex Strong Authentication
System (ASAS System), our two-factor e-security system for strong
authentication, for VPN, LAN and Strong Web Access Control.
The v3.6 OTP token can be used to generate a One-Time Password
for authentication.
Every A-Key token is unique and is assigned an electronic
serial number (ESN) and a seed. This ensures non-repudiation
of each A-Key token. The convenient form factor is a car key
size and completely portable for ease of use.

Password
The event-based One-Time Password function of the A-Key
token offers a 6-digit numeric PIN that can be used alongside
a password for strong two-factor authentication. The 3.6 A-Key
token is flexible enough to adopt different algorithms, including
the OATH (Open Authentication) event-based algorithm.
Strong Two-Factor Authentication
The chip-based A-Key® 4500 token and the ASAS® System offer
greater flexibility than other solutions, by enabling One-time
Password and Challenge/Response authentication from the same
token.
Total Mobility
Our A-Key token enables you to travel and authenticate without
the need of pre=existing software or software installation,
in order to login to a network.
Ease of Use
Its simple interface is easy to understand and use. One click
of the button produces a six-digit OTP number. Clicking and
holding the button produces the token's Electronic Serial Number
(ESN), the number used to identify each unique token. Bars in
the lower right corner of the LCD display battery strength.
